HRD is a inter disciplinary approach. It involves collection of ideas for many sciences. It makes use of principals and concepts of behavioural sciences for the development of the people. It uses knowledge drawn from psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, and political science for the planning and implementing various programmes for the development of individuals, groups and the organization.
