Characteristics of OD (organisational development):

1. Organisational growth is an educational strategy for starting a planned change.

2. This is associated to real problems of the organisation.

3. Laboratory training methods depends on experienced behaviour are primarily employed to bring change.

4. Organisational Development uses modify agent (or consultant) to guide and result the modification. The task of change agent is to guide groups in the direction of more effectual group processes quite than telling them what to do.
