Cafemac, a UK renowned coffee shop, is achieving its objective of growing globally by more than five outlets and 150 employees daily. Cafemac believes that the key to company success is its employees and also believes its financial success results from its existing HR practices. As a result of the important role of people in Cafemac, the company emphasizes selecting the right employees, training them, managing their performance and retaining employees with above-minimum salaries. Job fairs, a company website, and employee referrals are used to recruit new employees. The organisation wants employees who are dependable, adaptable, and team players.
