A person with a mass of 200kg wearing snow skis is gliding down a long slope at an angle of 20 degrees. Each ski is 200cm long and 5 cm wide. The pressure of the skis on the snow melts a thin layer of water so that a .1mm layer of water exists under each ski. The water layer is at a temperature of 0C. Determine the maximum velocity that the skier will achieve without using poles. Neglect the drag force of the air on the skier. Please show all steps

Give one reason why this should be considered by management : A chemical plant produces a process wastewater that contains a relatively high concentration of a small number of nontoxic organic compounds, but very low concentrations of solids or salts.
How long will it take to concentrate the solution : 150,000 mol of aqueous phosphoric acid (H3PO4) solution contains 5.00% H3PO4 by moles. The solution is concentrated by adding pure H3PO4 at a rate of 20.0 L/min.
Calculate the pressure and mole fractions in the vapor : Water is used in a heat exchange to cool 5 kg/s of air from 400 C to 200 C. Calculate (a) the minimum mass flux (kg/s) of the water and (b) the quantity of heat transferred (MJ) to the water each second. The water enters at 20 C and leave at 30 C.
Balance the latitudes and departures by using the compass : A four-sided closed field traverse has the following angles. A = 81 degrees 22%u201930%u201D, B = 72 degrees 32%u201930%u201D, C = 89 degrees 39%u201930%u201D, D =116 degrees 23%u201930%u201D.

What volume of naocl will be needed : If the plant uses sodium hypochlorite instead, what volume of NaOCl will be needed? Assume that the dry density of NaOCl is 1.2 kg/L and that 1 mg/L of dissolved NaOCl is equivalent to 1 mg/L of dissolved Cl2.
Derive an equation that would allow for direct calculation : A closed system of 0.123kg undergoes a frictionless, quasi-static process along the path PV=C from 100kpa to a final state where the volume is twice the initial volume. During the process 8140 N-m of work is done by the system. What is the final spec..
How long would you figure the soil will take to reach : An oil storage area, abandoned 10 years ago, had spilled oil on the ground and saturated the soil at a concentration of perhaps 400 mg/kg of soil. A fast food chain wants to build a restaurant there, and samples the soil for contaminants.
What is the minimum chain length for the application : A motorcycle sprocket on the rear wheel has a diameter of 24 cm, and trhe driver sprocket has a diameter of 4.0 cm. The driver sprocket shaft and rear axle are 60 cm apart. What is the minimum chain length for the application.
