Explain Stator of a Synchronous Machine?
The stator of a synchronous machine is made of thin laminations of highly permeable (silicon) steel in order to reduce the core losses. It is essentially of the same design as that used for induction machines. The inside of the stator has a number of slots with normally parallel sides for easy winding.

The total number of slots depends, among many other factors, on the machine size, the number of poles, and the number of coils per phase per pole. The larger the number of coils is, the closer will be the induced voltage to its sinusoidal waveform. Depending on the requirements, the 3-phase windings may be either star (Y) or delta (Δ) connected.
Draw an electrical relay diagram rung showing a N/O contact of CR1(coil) in series witha N/C contact of CR2(Coil), operating a lamp L1. A delay-on (TON) relay has a preset of 5.
Q. Three dc generators are operating in parallel with excitations such that their external characteristics are almost straight lines over the working range with the following pairs
1. Look at a method of creating AC from DC. 2. This may involve a microcontroller. 3. Method must be able to synchronise your produced AC to local AC supply. 4. Look at po
If a current is passed through a coil, it creates a flux within the coil. Any attempt to change this flux will create a back emf that acts to oppose the change. Consider again
Q. For the circuit shown in Figure, develop and execute a PSpice program to obtain the node voltages and the current through each element.
Voltage is referred as Potential difference among two points. Potential means its force. I think so.voltage defination is 100% correct.
