Differentiate between tacit and explicit knowledge

Knowledge is of two types, viz., tacit and explicit. Explicit knowledge can be communicated and expressed in the form of documents. Tacit knowledge, on the other hand, is highly personalised and subjective. It is inherent to an individual embedded in his actions and experiences. It is difficult to formalise and document.
