Question
For the movement, you will assess the motion during the different phases and sub-phases (if present) with specific attention to all joint regions of the upper limbs. It is expected that you will discuss:
1. What the specific movement is, with an accurate demonstration of the skill. Utilizing a screwdriver to screw in a screw.
2. Discuss appropriate biomechanical principles associated with the action, etc: lever class(es) ground reaction forces, joint reaction forces, segment and body center of mass, vertical and horizontal displacements, movement efficiency, etc.
3. What anatomy of the upper limb and axial skeleton are involved and how.
4. What are the osteokinematics and arthrokinematics during the phases/action?
5. Identification of agonist muscle kinetics (including concentric or eccentric actions) of those directly and indirectly during each phase/movement. 6) You will also need to address 3 additional biomechanical alterations/technical mistakes that directly impact the action.
7. Lastly discuss 2 immediate interventions or strategies to prevent sequela from occurring if partaking in this action frequently.
