Assignment: English
Sometimes we have a hard time articulating why we are interested or not interested in a certain career. The Myers-Briggs test helps you access your personality traits by answering a series of questions. We will reflect on those traits and how they might make us better suited for one career than another.
After you have your results, write about how your personality type connects to your future career. Here are some points to consider as you write your paper:
1. What were your results?
2. Do you think they are accurate? Why?
3. What were your strengths and weaknesses? Give an example of each and how they might help or hinder you in your career.
4. Were you interested in any of the careers that were mentioned in your results? Why?
5. What are some of your personality traits that you think would help you to excel in your chosen career? If you don't have a chosen career, do these results help narrow things down? How?
6. How do your personality traits help you learn?
7. How does your personality impact your study habits?
8. Are there reading, note-taking, or study techniques that fit better with your personality type? Which ones and how will you use them?
