The marketing plan should consist of expanding opportunities for business in catering companies and needs to satisfy the customer successfully. Marketing plan would be successful if there will be proper market segmentation of the customers in the market. The customer and the target market will be basically the mother and the potential customer needs to be determined in the first stage of the marketing plan. The good and high quality healthy foods with competitive prices will help the customer to know about the product that is lunchbox menu designing for children. (Wells, 2012)

The cost of the food should be generally low depending on the target market and the unique market should be the schools, universities and other districts of schools. The patterns and ideas of distribution should be based upon caterers and the distribution of foods and lunch boxes should be kept in a cold temperature to make it safe and healthy. Thus there should be good quality, healthy and safety food should be organized by the company. This will also create strong relationship with the customers and also it will create high value of positioning and reputation will be built in a positive manner. (Sharma, 2012)

When compare to the competitor's service, there should be some extra advantage need to be given for better profitability and great business. The promotion plan and strategy should based on low cost strategy and experts opinion like teacher and doctor will work a lot in this case otherwise use of mother will also help to increase and to expand the profit and business. The word of mouth helps a lot in this service and it should focus on convincing the target market very effectively and efficiently. Programs in local media channels such as newspapers, television and other effective mediums will also be very useful to promote the plan. (bplans.co.uk, 2012)

Thus the first step the lunch box menu for children, the company should conduct a small survey and should focus on questionnaire. The company should take help of local nutritionist and physicians who look for children or consulting about the growth of the children, and other medical shop, also run a campaign to provide information for healthy food and effect of that food for the children's growth. The point of interaction and campaign should run in various locations such as housing communities and other areas. (Maki, 2009)
