Disadvantage of the Raster Scan Display Device
The major disadvantage of the raster scan is the jagged nature of the lines, happening from the information that the pixels are aligned beside regular rows and columns and points on a line will not, in common, fall on the precise centers of the pixels. However the advantages far outweigh this drawback and additional developments have diminished such jaggedness difficulty too. Therefore, almost all the monitors utilized today have raster display; by using pixels and all consequent discussions in such text will be concerned along with this last type.
Each of the preceding features of raster scan will implemented to any image on the screen, where it is graphics exact in the sense of a drawing or it is a quality letter, number or the other symbol.
