(a) What is the rationale behind earned value analysis in project monitoring and how is it helpful?

(b) Using information in Table 2, calculate the schedule variance and cost variance for each task in the project at timenow 30 days

(c) In light of calculations above, comment on the progress of the project with respect to the schedule. What is the expected duration of project if started (but incomplete) tasks continue on the same trend and if tasks which have not started yet proceed as per schedule?

(d) In light of calculations above, what is the expected cost of the project now?

(e) What corrective action would you recommend at this stage of the project?
