What is Graphics
It is a term that refers to any computer device or program which makes a computer able of displaying and manipulating pictures. The name also refers to the images themselves.
For illustration, laser printers and plotters are graphics devices since they permit the computer to output pictures.
A graphics monitor is a display monitor which can display pictures.
A graphics board or card is a printed circuit board of that, when installed in a computer, allows the computer to display pictures.
Many software applications comprise graphics components. These programs are said to carry graphics. For illustration, exact word processors support graphics since they let you draw or import pictures. All CAD or CAM systems support graphics.
