Describe the scope of marketing.

The scope of marketing can be illustrated in terms of functions which a marketing manager performs. Into most of the business enterprises, marketing department is set up in the supervision of the marketing manager. Here the functions of marketing may be categorized into four categories as demonstrated in the following figure as given below:
