- No pain or tenderness on palpation, percussion, or function.
- Rigid fixation; no hori-ontal or vertical mobility under 500 gm load.
- <1.5mm crestal bone loss from stage II
- < 1.0mm bone loss in preceding 3 years.
- After first year, stable probing (sulcus) depth < 4 mm.
- No exudates.
- No radiolucency.
