Goal specification, HR Management

Assignment Help:

Goal specification refers to 'the identification and prioritization of goals and subgoals for mission accomplishment' (Marks et al. 2001, p. 365). In other words, what will be accomplished within the specified timelines and to what quality standard? A team's mission will not be achieved if the team does not engage in goal setting or if it sets ambiguous, unattainable or impractical goals.
