Explain Network Model in DBMS?

Network Model - It was formalised within the late year of 1960s through the Database Task Group of the Conference on Data System Language (DBTG/CODASYL). It uses two various data structures to represent the database entities and relationships among the entities, namely record type and set type. In the network model, the relationships as well as the navigation by the database are predefined at database creation time.
