 The Fast Track Civil Service graduate selection strategy includes completed application forms, psychometric tests, assessment centres, structured interviews and presentations. Assess the relative strengths and contributions of each aspect to the selection strategy.

 (a) What are the potential, positive outcomes of the effective application of work-life balance policies?

  (b) Outline 3 actions that you could take as a manager or employer to increase the well-being of employees and organisation     performance.

As global technological systems and industrial processes become more aligned, systems of managing people converge. However distinctiveness in national systems is very durable, requiring divergence in approach. Examine the tension between convergence and divergence in the international management of people.
