Citrus Fruits

A large number of constituents in citrus products have been shown to be capable of preventing or alleviating diseases and promoting health. Vitamin C, E, and carotenoids, for instance, are thought to play a role in preventing or delaying the onset of major degenerative diseases of aging such as cancer, cardiovascular disease, and cataracts by counteracting oxidative processes.
