(a) Define organization development by providing characteristics of OD strategies?
(b) (i) Differentiate between organizational culture and organizational climate?

(ii) Briefly explain the 4 types of culture provided by Handy (1981).

(c) If there is an appropriate and effective culture, it would be desirable to develop a strategy for supporting or reinforcing it. If the culture is inappropriate, attempts should be made to determine what needs to be changed and to develop and implement plans for change.

Provide steps/plans that can be adopted in either situation.
