Discover the various responsibilities of a project manager (PM) by organizing a project. See Chapter 19, sections 19.9 and Cases.
Apply project management tools and a PM outline type of your choice to structure for a complex project. Plan the project by defining, planning, and controlling your mock project.
Create a presentation with detailed speaker notes, that includes the following:
1) Form a Project Team and describe the project team reporting structure.
2) Write a Project description including the projects desired deliverable, expected length to complete and finances to be applied to the project (project's Triple-Constraints).
3) Using the information you developed above, create Project Management Charts (Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), Critical Path, Gantt Chart, project budget and project team structure).
Describe how the follow affects your mock project.
1) Meeting cadence/rhythm and timing
2) Metrics to measure the project's success
3) Financial and budgetary considerations.
