Healthy People Initiative wants to improve the nation's health by preventing disease and promoting health. Healthy People 2023 aims to improve health and well-being by providing quality and affordable healthcare, improving global health conditions and outcomes, and improving social well-being. This area provides you an opportunity to reflect on what you have learned, at this point of time, and what concepts you still need further exploration on. At this point, I have learned quite a lot. I have learned under Provision 5 that a nurse holds the same responsibilities to self as to others, by promoting personal health and creating a balanced personal and professional life. Primary rules as nurses: I learned about the preservation of integrity "When integrity is eroded, nurses may experience moral distress," which emphasizes the importance of upholding integrity in this field. Conscientious objective: the refusal to participate in an activity that violates personal beliefs. The first 4 levels of needs in Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs are called Deficiency needs, while the top level is called Growth needs. Deficiency needs stem from deprivation and motivation when they're unmet. Growth needs stem from a desire to grow as a person. Preventative measures: Primordial, Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary.
