Employee D has Supervisor Y. D is preparing for an executive presentation where Y will be present. The presentation is an opportunity for D to meet/impress this group of executives. D meets with Y ahead of the presentation to ensure he/she knows what will be contained in the presentation. During the presentation itself, Y is asked a question related to the materials by one of the executives. The answer given by Y is factually incorrect. Understanding that the incorrect answer could reflect negatively on the opinions of the executives on the quality of D's presentation, what should D do? Correct Y on the spot? Suggest that Y did not understand the question and give Y a chance to change his/her answer or ask D for help? Follow up with Y after the presentation? Something else?
