New Employees and Pregnancy Alison has just learned that she is pregnant with her first child. She's excited about starting a family, but knows she needs to continue working after the baby is born. She doesn't know what's available to her and what she needs to do. Alison is your recently hired accountant. She's only been with your company for three months and has just informed you that she is pregnant with her first child. She informs you that her due date is within five months. She wants to know if she will be paid during maternity leave and whether you will hold her job while she is out. She is also inquiring about any other benefits available to her.
