Part A: Written description

Propose a new design for the product you chose for your redesign project. Please include these things:

1. What is your product?

2. What is your proposed redesign? Be specific and detailed. Make sure we have enough information to truly understand your proposed changes and how they will affect the existing product. If you can, use images, like photographs, sketches and 3D models, to tell your story. If not, make sure your written descriptions contain enough information that a complete stranger can understand what you're describing.

3. How does your redesign improve your original product? This is a challenging thing for a lot of new designers. So show us your problem statement from Part B, and then tell us how your redesign directly addresses specific parts of the problem statement.

Part B: Annotated photo

Take a photo of your product. You can take a new picture, or you can use the photo you made to illustrate your problem statement (remove the old labels if you do). It should include...

2. A sketch or diagram that shows 1 thing that you would change about the product. Your sketch doesn't need to be beautiful, it just needs to be clear.

Then, label your photo. Add at least 3 labels. They should include this information:

1. What is the change? How would your new design be different than the old design?
2. What does the change do?
3. How does the change address the problem you described in your last redesign assignment?
