View the Academy Award-winning 2004 film CRASH, directed by Paul Haggis. In a paper of a minimum of 2000 words, please respond to the following prompt:
In his review of the film CRASH, Roger Ebert says, "One thing that happens, again and again [in the film], is that peoples' assumptions prevent them from seeing the actual person standing before them" (rogerebert.com). However, the script plays with these stereotypes, twisting them to show how they are patently false, and yet how they can also be true.
For your paper, choose three (3) examples of stereotypes presented in the film and discuss how the movie displays this "twisting" and how the prejudice c from seeing the actual person standing in front of them.
