A laboratory space has a heat gain of 3 tons with a sensible heatfactor of 0.7. The indoor design conditions are 78 F at 40% RH. Theoutdoor air design conditions are 95 F at 50% RH. The coolingequipment has a fixed air flow rate of 350 cfm/ton of cooling. Thecooling system consists of a mixing box (to mix outdoor and returnair), a filter, and a cooling coil. At the design condition thesystem mixes 25% outdoor air with the return air.
