In this assignment you will carry out research and make recommendations.

· Discuss the Market Research plans (Assignment 1) of each of the members of your group.

· Select one of these plans to be the basis for the group assignment..

· Adapt the research plan so that the research can be carried out by surveying students at the Holmes institute.

· Carry out the research specified in the plan.

Show how the research answer will impact upon the business decision.

Discuss how the business decision will affect the success of the business.

You are expected to consult at least two journal articles for and by each member of the group, to provide deeper insight into the ideas explored in your project.

Use of Harvard referencing to identify the source of all ideas.

Assessment

Clarity of description of the business decision.

Clarity and relevance of the research question.

Reliability and validity of the research project design

Discussion of possible sources of error and what can be done to reduce them

Clarity of discussion of how the research findings should be applied to the business decision.

Clarity of explanation of how the business decision will affect the success of the business.

Use of ideas from Journal articles
