Using your Learning Team discussion as a starting point, create a logical diagram for Taylor and Sons using the diagramming tool of your choice. Refer to the example in the Microsoft Technet article, "Network Infrastructure."

Write a 1- to 2-page paper using Microsoft Word explaining the LAN network diagram. Explain, using supporting justification, your logic for selecting a particular network design.

Your Learning Team has been hired to set up a local area network for both wireless and Ethernet technologies with a firewall for a Windows® network at a medium-sized company, Taylor & Sons Financial Consulting. The network will have 100 users and 10 applications used extensively by 80 of the employees. Ten of the employees are clerks and should have read-only access to the databases generated by the applications. The owner is worried about security and wants a firewall installed. The company is physically located on the first three floors of one building. Discuss within your Learning Teams how this is to be designed for consistent coverage and ensuring the appropriate access for clerks and other employees.
