You should analyze the film by focusing on the intersectional operations of gender, colonialism, patriarchy, and GBV. Make sure that you support your analysis with specific examples from the documentary/movie (the plot) as well as direct quotations (e.g.dialogues) from the film. Please refrain from including an introduction or conclusion in your analysis. Instead, focus on completing the two components outlined below. Your analysis should include at least ONE course reading/material to support your assessment.
Component 2: Evaluation of Documentary Strengths and Weaknesses (Causes, Characteristics, Dynamics, Solutions, etc.) for Understanding Family, DV, and IPV Issues: Critically assess the strengths and weaknesses of the documentary in terms of its ability to elucidate issues related to family violence, domestic violence, and intimate partner violence. Please consider the following points in your evaluation:

• Were alternative perspectives or positions on these issues adequately presented, or were there ambiguities, inadequacies, or omissions regarding concepts, ideas, or voices? If so, why are these aspects significant?
• Were certain elements or sources more effective and convincing than others?
• How does the documentary correspond to or differ from what you've learned from other sources on this subject matter?
• How does the documentary advance our understanding of the issues?
• What point or part did you find particularly relevant or important and why?
• What is your overall reaction to the documentary and why?
• Does the documentary disrupt dominant knowledge, and if so, why does this matter?
