Advanced Systems Analysis and Design
Tasks 1 - Produce a system specification indicating functional and non-functional requirements
Task 2 - Generate suitable prioritised Use Cases for the system.
Task-3 Produce a fully annotated model of the proposed system using appropriate techniques. For example, you might use DFD and ERD notation or you might choose to use UML diagrams. Note that you must make the level of detail manageable given assessment constraints such as time and word count.
Task 4 - Produce a user interface design for the proposed system using appropriate techniques
A college course may have one or more scheduled sections, or may not have a scheduled section. Attributes of COURSE include Course_ID, Course_Name, and Units.
Prepare a Java program to assign passengers seats in an airplane. Suppose a small airplane with seats numbered as follows:
Analyze the given properties of BFS and DFS for Acyclic Tree without making any assumptions. Optimality, Completeness.
Determine the minimum number of nodes in tree to remove so that the tree is separated into subtrees of sizes at most k. Give the algorithm, the correctness proof and the time complexity.
Construct a simple threat model that describes the risk this represents: attacker(s), attack vector, vulnerability, assets, and likelihood of occurrence, likely impact, and plausible mitigations.
Create a divide and conquer algorithm to solve problem. The time complexity of your algorithm must be O(nlgn) or better.
A sorting algorithm is described as stable if equal elements are in the same relative order in the sorted sequence as in the original sequence.
Write working algorithm in pseudo code to decide which commute is cheaper: You wish to decide whether you must drive your car to work or take train. You know one-way distance
Give an algorithm that takes an n-node path G with weightsand returns an independent set of maximum total weight. The runningtime should be polynomial in n, independent of the values of theweights
Count the amount of words in the file. A word can end with a --- space, EOLN character or a punctuation mark (which will be part of the word).
Describe a FAIRCOIN algorithm that returns either 0 or 1 with equal probability, using ONEINTHREE as your only source of randomness.
Create a Java program that takes as input an infix arithmetic expression then transforms to a postfix expression and based on binary tree, it evaluates that expression.
