What are the types of distribution channels in Place Strategies?

Usually, a company has access to two main types of distribution channels as domestic intermediaries and foreign intermediaries. But apart from these channels, there the company can also use its own personnel distribution. Conversely, a global distribution strategy has to be developed look altering the economic, legal, political and cultural environment. The distribution strategies should be consistent along with the product, promotional and pricing strategies. For example: McDonalds currently opened its outlet into Delhi Agra highway to cater to the rising tourist traffic onto the highway.
