What are the types of leukocytes and how are they classified into granulocytes and agranulocytes?
The types of leukocytes are monocytes, lymphocytes, neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils. Granulocytes are those in whose cytoplasm there are granules (when viewed under electronic microscopy): neutrophils, eosinophils and basophils are granulocytes. Agranulocytes are the other leukocytes: monocytes and lymphocytes.
