What are the basic components of Lead Acid Cell?
Ans. Basic Components of Lead Acid Cells are:
(i) Positive Plates which are tubular in shape prepared by PBO2.
(ii) Negative Plates generally consists of a lead grid into which active substance of Sponge lead is pressed.
(iii) Separators which are build by Synthetic used between negative and positive plates.
(iv) Container is prepared of hard rubber or PPCP with high insulating strength to resist acids which are used as Electrolyte.
(v) Cells cover which face container having level indicator and vent plugs.
