Q. Explain the steps to the scientific notation?

Answer:-

To write in scientific notation you must first move the decimal point of the number to where the number is between 1 and 9. For instance change 567 to 5.67. Then count the numeral of places you moved the decimal. If you moved it left after that the number is positive. If you moved it right after that the number is negative. Ultimately times the number with the decimal point by 10 to the power of the number the decimal moved.

Instance: 500000 --> 5.00000 --> over 5 --> 5 x 105
