Ventricular Arrhythmias : These include premature ventricular contractions (PVC), ventricular tachycardia (VT) and ventricular fibrillation (VT). At times they may be responsible for sudden cardiac death in the post-operative period. So these patients are closely monitored in the first 48 hours.
