Multiplying Quantities Written in Scientific Notation

Solve the following problem.

(2 * 1014 cm) * (9 * 1012 cm)

To answer the multiplication problem first multiply the factors 2 * 9 = 18 then add the exponents 14 +12 = 26 combine the factors 18 * 1026. Ultimately multiply the units as well as write your answer in scientific notation: 1.8 * 1027 cm2.
