Statistical techniques similar to multiple profitability, regressions, and simulation or programming techniques and so on are used to prepare advertisement budget. Multiple regressions assist to determine the contribution and effect of advertisement budget on the level of sales. These techniques presume that current sales are dependent on current advertising and carry over effect from preceding period advertising.
