Power Distribution System
The Distribution System contains:
- Sub-transmission system in voltage ranges from 33 kV to 220 kV.
The energy goes from power substations to distribution substations through primary system and then from distribution substations to secondary distribution system for local voltage distribution.
- Primary circuits of feeders, usually operating in the range of 11 kV to 33 kV, supply the load in well defined geographical areas.
- The distribution transformers, commonly installed on poles or near the consumer sites, transform the primary voltage to the secondary voltage, that is usually 240/415 V.
- Secondary circuits at service voltage that carry energy from the distribution transformers along the streets, etc.
Triode Mode When V GS > V th and V DS GS - V th ) The transistor is turned on, and a channel has been created that allows current to
Q. Explain workinf of colpitts oscillator? When the collector supply voltage V cc is switched on, the capacitors C1 and Cz are charged. These capacitors C1 and Cz discharge thr
why Direct current flow through semiconductors but alternating current cannot flow?
Since past few decades, telecommunication systems are continuously evolving from 2G to 3G to 4G etc. This has resulted in multiple technologies and many types of receivers which do
1. The circuit is: A circuit which lights a LED when a voltage is above 14 volts and flashes the LED (at about 1 Hz) below 10 Volts. The circuit should also continuously sounds
