After studying this unit you will be able to:

1. Understand the importance of filing and filing systems,

2. Describe suitable system for filing science stock and paperwork using some examples,

3. Describe ways of cataloguing, state what records should be kept and what information should be recorded (including abnormal incidents), and

4. Maintain a record of breakages and report them periodocally to the persons concerned.
