Objectives and applicability of 1948s Factories Act:

The Factories Act controls the conditions of work as health and safety within factories. This safeguards the interests of the workers and this is for the welfare of the factory employees. The act obtained the assent of Governor General of India onto September 23, 1948 year and came within force onto April 1, 1949 year. Such act was further amended several times.
