Clearly indicate fire dampers on ducts penetrating fire rated partitions, equipment rooms, duct shafts, ceiling outlets, etc.

Detail fire dampers on drawings if required.

For high velocity ducts ensure multiple fusible links. Ductwork to pass fire rated walls at right angles.

Ensure note is on drawings referencing the Architectural plan showing the fire separations.
