Question

In structure of pump troughs for accommodation of screw pumps, what is major construction process to ensure close contact between screw pumps and pump trough?

Answer

In structure of screw pump troughs, trapezoidal-shaped troughs are frequently formed by using normal formwork. In command to improve close contact between screw pumps and troughs, upon lifting screw pumps into troughs screeding works is approved out. Screw pumps are set to rotate and screeds are placed between gap of screw pumps' blade and trapezoidal-shaped troughs throughout rotating action of screw pumps. After screed sets, it serves to prevent leakage of water throughout pumping operation of screw pumps.
