(a) Power is one of the most important human variables in the project management process as it sets the framework for directing and influencing human resources. Explain the sources of power of a project manager.

(b) Politics will be defined as an activity concerned with the acquisition of power. Describe five ways of dealing with power and politics in project management.

When all elements of a project team are present, the team is said to be in balance. And for the team to perform efficiently, it has to be in balance. Describe the five elements that have to be generally present in a successful project team.

The control process is a continuous one to detect and resolve potential problems so that the project remains on schedule, within budget, and produces the desired end result. There are generally six basic elements of a project that can be controlled. You are required to elaborate on these elements.
