Explain the Physiological effects of ingestion of fibres?

Physiological effects of ingestion of fibres with adsorption properties are:

1. Diminished absorption of lipids. Within the small intestine, bile acids and phospholipids are required for micelle formation and subsequent digestion and absorption. Hence, interaction between bile acid and fibre reduces lipid absorption
