The formation of macro and micronuclei of daughter paramoeci:

Each exconjugant has a single micronucleus and four macronuclei.
This type of exconjugant divides twice and forms four daughter paramoecia.
Each daughter paramoecium receives one macronucleus from the exconjugants.
The single micronucleus of the exconjugant divides twice along with the exconjugant and each daughter paramoecium receives one micronucleus.
In this process only the micronucleus of the exconjugants undergoes mitotic division.
Macronucleus does not divide. They are distributed to daughter paramoecia from the exconjugants.
In this way from each exconjugant, four daughter paramoecia are formed resulting in 8 paramoecia.
