Pressure at Any Point on the Surface of a Horizontal Plane

 Fluid pressure is the same at any point on the horizontal plane because:

1.  The fluid specific weight is the same for the entire container volume;

2.  By equation Ρ = (γ)(h), the pressure is dependent and directly related to the hydrostatic head (h).  h = distance from the fluid surface to the plane.
