Explain Genital herpes
Acyclovir (Zovirax, and others), famciclovir (Famvir) or valacyclovir (Valtrex) taken orally for 7-10 days shortens the duration of pain, viral shedding and systemic symptoms in initial herpes simplex virus genital infection.
