Q. Explain about Myocardial Infarction?
It is an initial acute phase of cardiovascular disease caused by the blockage of a coronary artery supplying blood to the. Heart shows the progression of this disease. Myocardial infarction generally occurs when fibrous plaques coalesce together with blood clots to result in complete blockage or stenosis in artery supplying oxygen and nutrients through blood to the heart. The heart tissue denied blood because of this blockage, ultimately dies as indicated in blue colour.
