Products and markets are very constantly changing because of technological advancements. Increasingly companies are using advanced technology to get the better of their competitors. The rising usage of the same technology by various companies has made it complicated for them to create and keep competitive advantage into the long run. There production cost per unit declines over time because of the learning effect that leads to reduction within the price of the product. Because of the advances into the communication technology, customers have achieved easy access to helpful and better information regarding the brands via the internet.
