Evidence in favor of Kekule's structure

1.  Benzene combines along with 3 molecules of hydrogen or three molecules of chlorine. It also collides along with 3 atoms of ozone to make triozonide. These reactions depict the existence of three double bonds.

2. Studies on molecular refraction and magnetic rotation illustrate the existence of three double bonds and a conjugated system.

3. The synthesis of benzene from three atoms of acetylene as well favour's Kekule's structure.
